Due to some connectivity issues with a built-in Wi-Fi card, recently I had to reach it for some workaround solutions.
As these two adapters (offering more reach, but less performance than the 802.11ax built-in card) were close enough, I decided to give it a try.
Given that these are not so new, this turned out to be a problem on a Windows 11 (21H2) (x64) OS - either the driver was unavailable (WL-1700USB) or the available driver was unstable (Archer T3U Plus).
After some fiddling and testing, drivers below have shown decent performance and stability (use at your own discretion and risk):
- AirLive WL-1700 USB
- TP-Link Archer T3U Plus (for this device choosing "TP-Link High Power Wireless USB Adapter" may offer better stability)
